Notes for Tomorrow—Southern Taipei Version
Curatorial Organisation: TheCube Project Space, Independent Curators International
Published Date: May 2022
Curated and produced by ICI, co-organised by TheCube Project Space, Notes for Tomorrow—Southern Taipei Version featured the works by a total of 35 curators and 34 artists / collectives from around the world. The curatorial philosophy behind this exhibition was to respond to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world and reflect on the instability and unknown state caused by the pandemic. Through a renewed focus and discussion on the life experiences, local cultures, colonial histories, as well as current issues about life and survival in different places, this exhibition not only resumed the human exploration of sustainability and shared wisdom, but also galvanized the viewers to re-envisage a new global future. For the first time, TheCube Project Space was collaborating with eight art spaces (ten locations) in Taipei City, thereby extending the viewing experience to the places with different atmospheres, and inviting the viewers to space-hop in the southern part of Taipei City.
