Print & Carve Dept.

Print & Carve Dept. founded in October 2019, Taiwan.

Print & Carve Dept. group consists of members who are interested in woodcut printmaking with a focus on social and political issues. They don’t just publish personal works or those of the group, we also curate content that fits into the theme that the collective shares – developing the participation, communication and interaction on these issues with the public.

The goal of their collective is to initiate printmaking action as a means to keep involving communities and outsiders. They invite people to produce art together, through a collective flow to speak up about our value and achieve the sovereignty of expressing art.
